We are proud to be a B Corp, which means we’re a company that believes in using business as a force for good.

As a B Corp, we have been certified for doing good things for the planet, our people and our community. But what does B Corp mean, and why are we talking about it now? Well, it’s B Corp Month, which we’ll explain a bit more about later, but first, more on B Corp.

WHAT IS B CORP?

B Corp is a certification verified by B Lab that meets high standards on social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

B Lab, the non-profit that certifies and supports B-Corporations, conducted a rigorous evaluation of every part of the business and assessed Rebel Kitchen Cleanse’s impact on our employees, suppliers, community and the environment to make sure that we meet the high standards needed to qualify.

So, it’s not just about the sustainable nature of our organic juice cleanses, it’s about everything we do as an organisation.

We are proud to have been certified as a B Corp since the very beginning (well, the second cohort of businesses) all the way back in 2017. We wanted to stand proudly and be measured against these against these standards four our social and environmental performance.

Since then, we have continued to recertify and strive for a better score each time. Today, there are more than 8,200 B Corps around the world, across 162 industries in 96 countries, covering 755,000 workers. When we first joined, there was around 2,000 organisations, which just goes to show the importance of B Corp awareness in helping other businesses be a power for good.

WHAT IS B CORP MONTH?

B Corp Month is a celebration of companies which have earned B Corporation certification and recognises our commitment to social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

During B Corp Month, B Corporations around the world engage in activities to raise awareness about the importance of using business as a force for good.

B Corp Month helps to showcase the diversity and scale of companies that are leading the way in ethical business practices, from small independent businesses to large multinational corporations.

By highlighting the positive impact that B Corps aim to create in the world, B Corp Month encourages consumers, businesses and policymakers to support and engage with companies that are committed to this level of social and environmental responsibility.

So there you have it, B Corp in a sustainable nutshell, but if you’d like to know more about our other credentials (we’re also 1% for the Planet accredited!), give us a shout!
