The countdown is on… before you dive into your cleanse, let’s lay the groundwork to get the most out of your cleansing journey. Here’s your rebel-approved pre-cleanse guide to kick-start healthy habits and master your cleanse like a pro.

  1. Kick the Caffeine

When cleansing we advise you to cut out caffeine entirely, so if you are prone to needing a caffeine fix try reducing your intake the week prior to your cleanse. Start by dialling it down gradually. This will help reduce chances of withdrawal such as headaches, drops in energy and concentration.

Rebel Tip: Try switching out your coffee for a green tea if you are missing your usual caffeine fix.

  1. Stay hydrated

Drink plenty of water ahead of your cleanse and during. This will prevent any headaches, will keep you feeling fresh and can help in achieving a post-cleanse glow.

  1. Mindful meals

Rebels, it’s time start being mindful about what you are putting in your body. To help your body adjust when its time to cleanse try to eat lots of veg, white meat or fish with brown rice or sweet potato in the week prior. We also suggest cutting out caffeine, red meats, dairy greasy and sugary foods.  Prepping your body now for healthier eating habits sets the stage for a long-lasting results after your cleanse.

  1. Exercise

Go for a light walk or try out some yoga as this will help to eliminate toxins. You can keep these up during your cleanse as a way of practising mindfulness and remaining active without doing anything too strenuous.
